Local emo-punk quintet Paper Pills returns with its first new music since 2024’s deadname. “Shampoo” is a straight-up ripper, driven by discordant guitars that recall Wednesday’s noisier moments. The band celebrated the single’s release with a show at Eulogy on Friday alongside Lavender Blue and Porcelain Parrot, and given their steady activity, it likely won’t be long before another local gig pops up on the calendar.
